Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

Published

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

I'm kind of unsure about the immunization form. So if I have a copy of my immunizations from when i was a child can i just bring that to my new doctor and he will sign off on the form.

I'm so sorry CaRNwnt2b I wish you the best for next semester I was sooo looking forward to 2 yrs worth of chocolate bars and shots with you!

So Happy we will get to do the Chocolate Bars and Shots now together! Hopefully Kristi gets everything straightened out and joins us too!:D

uniforms should be ordered before DEC 17th, not yet....we need to go for fitting first i think

congs to all of u...woooooooooowwwwwo

CaRNwnt2b - I am so very excited we get to eat chocolate bars and shots together (everyones invited of course, the more the merrier:clpty:)

CK530: that's what I did. I have already had all of my immunizations done and the titer for varicella so I just showed my physician proof from my immunization card and he signed off on all of them. I just had to redo my TB test since it's been more than six months since I've had it done.

Anyone know what we do about the Hep C box on our chart? There's no immunization for it so what is supposed to be put there?

We just have a negative result for it from what I read. I'm going tomorrow to get all of mine done....so much to do but sooo glad to be doing it :-)

I think you just have to test to make sure you're negative for Hep C

There's so much to do and in such a short time! Thank goodness we can come here for questions. It's great to have this support group. I'm going to my doctor on Fri morning to have him fill out my paperwork. I don't want to wait to the last minute.

Hi everyone, I finally got my acceptance packet today!! yay

Is anyone doing clinicals at Sutter Tracy? I live in Brentwood so I think that is closest for me. Do you know if we have to switch hospitals? It doesn't say anywhere.

Yeah Kristi!!!! I was getting worried for you!!! RNbound your right! I feel so lucky because everyone is so supportive and helpful! We are going to be an awesome, class 2012! I'm glad someone mentioned the Hep C cause I would have overlooked it.
