Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

Great now I'm stressing! How am I gunna do my TB in time? I can't get into the dr til Monday? Do I have to wait a week in between? Ugh

Harry I don't think you have to stress too much. I would just call them and let them know that you may be a few days late on your immunization. I had a friend a few semester ago who wasn't even to meet some of the deadlines and they were able to work with her. I think just as long as you let them know they'll work with you.

I called today because my first TB was yesterday. The said yes they have to be a week apart. I told her my 2nd reading would be after the deadline & she said it would be ok but to upload my first before the deadline & my 2nd as soon as I got it.

I called about the TB. The Health and Science Dept, said that as long as I have the first one done and read by the deadline and then upload the second one when read, even though it is past the date. So I got my first today, will have it read Monday and then next Friday I will get my second. They are aware of the problem. Hope that helps a little. :)

can we order our uniforms before our fittings? and do we have to purchase stethoscope separately or its included in the Nursing Kit.

Just called the nursing dept...she said if I had a negative tb within the past six months I don't need a two step...I only need one more regular Tb test...in case anyone else needed the info!

I have a question about uploading the immunizations: do we upload our immunization sheet for each one? Not sure why there is a upload button for each immunization if we have them all on one paper...hope I'm not asking a stupid question :smackingf:smackingf:smackingf:smackingf:smackingf:smackingf
