Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

I too have been checking my email at least 3x a day. I think we should hear something by next week.

I agree that the hardest part is not knowing if they even got my application. it would have been a lot nicer if they sent out an automatic email, at least saying that the application was received.

Does anyone know how many people applied? I know someone here mentioned that they were number 400 something.

I read that someone said she was in the 300's so I am guessing at least 400 applied.

Has everyone checked their e-mails today? I haven't gotten anything yet. It should be anytime I think. Last semester it looks like the e-mails went out 6 days after the app. closed.

Hi Kristi, I realized it was 6 days since the application period closed that they received their emails, and it's 7 days today for us. I keep checking my email and hoping but nothing yet.

I've been checking my email all day today too. I thought that we'd hear something by today as well, since the last class only had to wait 6 days. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

I hope today's the day, or at least this week! I just really want to make sure that they received my app! RNBound who did you email to find out they received your app?

Hi Roxy, I emailed the contact they listed, if you had questions about the application. It was [email protected]. They responded really quickly, within the hour actually. Hope today's the day also!!

Somebody mentioned a fee, were we, who applied for spring 2011 were supposed to pay an applicaton fee? I did not not see a fee requirement and its driving me nuts now...

lanakopp - I didn't pay a application fee either. I think you might have confused what slrberry was talking about, a fee waiver that has to do with financial aid. There were points available if you were eligible for this waiver.

At least thats what I'm hoping was the case, because I didn't see anything about an application fee either.

lanakopp, I didn't pay fees when I applied. Not sure what you were reading or what that's about.

Roxy, let us know if you get a response. Sure wish they'd hurry up and email us! It's been 9 days already and last semester they only had to wait 6 days.
