Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

Hi Roxy, I emailed the contact they listed, if you had questions about the application. It was [email protected]. They responded really quickly, within the hour actually. Hope today's the day also!!

Thanks for the email address RNBound. I tried looking it up before, so that I could email them to confirm that they received my application, but could only find the old email address, which no longer works. I emailed them today, and they got back to me saying that they did receive it.

I am so tempted to call and ask when they expect emails to go out, but I dont want to hurt my chances:eek: I am so ready to know whats going on.

They responded back saying they received my complete application. Wheeeeew! If anyone is anxious to find out if they received your app you should email them. I wonder why it's taking them soooooo long! I wonder if it's because more people applied for Spring compared to Fall:confused: I hope not.

I have also applied for Spring! I am so glad someone posted the email address :-) I had emailed the one from the website and it kept getting returned. I hope we all hear something very, very soon! I hate waiting!

I just got an email stating that my application was complete and they will send out more information about who will be submitting documents during the week of 10/5, next week! Yay!!!!!!

I got my email as well, my app no is 276. I applied on sept 18th around 11pm. I am guessing, there will be around 350 applicants. I THINK THEY WILL LET US KNOW BY NEXT WEEK WHO IS IN OR AN ALTERNATIVE BECAUSE WE WILL BE RECEIVING EMAILS TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS.

Does anyone know how long we are given to get supporting documentation to the nursing department once we are asked to submit it?

Looks like I'm #415 so there's quite a few. I'm hoping that quite a few don't have all the pre-reqs, but that might be very wishful thinking :-)

According to the other thread, it looks like they had 2 weeks to submit documents. They got their email to submit documents on April 21, and everything needed to be in by May 6.
