The deadline is the last Friday in March. From now on I going to open my options because I am now aware competition is pretty fierce for jobs; for some reason I just assumed a job was going to just appear and float down in my hand like a feather, how naive. BTW I graduate this upcoming May. I am starting to get pretty freaked out about jobs now. And, have you all heard anything about Scott & White? Seton was my first choice, but I'm just making more room.
I thought it went well, although it is hard to tell. My interview was more about getting to know me and my experiences and telling me a bit about S&W. I didn't think it was terribly stressful and the managers who interviewed me were very pleasant. How was everyone else's phone interview?

To me, your best bet is to get in contact with an actual manager. They are easier to talk to about positions than HR. Both times I have worked for S&W, I contacted the mgr first then HR caught up after I was offered the position. On the med surg floor, you will get at least 5 patients, many times 6, sometimes up to 7. I worked on an adult med surg floor for a year (left in july) and we at times had no aide, or one aide for 37 rooms with 6 patients a piece. Think wisely before making a decision. Not saying S&W is a bad employer, you just have to be careful, with any employer and their promises.
