The deadline is the last Friday in March. From now on I going to open my options because I am now aware competition is pretty fierce for jobs; for some reason I just assumed a job was going to just appear and float down in my hand like a feather, how naive. BTW I graduate this upcoming May. I am starting to get pretty freaked out about jobs now. And, have you all heard anything about Scott & White? Seton was my first choice, but I'm just making more room.
Hello , ALL (Hope everyone is doing) good and excited about interviews/ and call backs for the specialities and Med-Surg. Has anyone had an interview for the med/surg- What type of questions did you have.../or what did they emphasize/ how did the interview go? Thanks in advance to all that have some insight. THat would be much appreciated.
Honestly, most of the questions were about items from my resume. It was a panel of unit managers. What I found strange was that you didn't know which units they represented--I even asked and they wouldn't say. Otherwise, they are relaxed, and don't come off as out to get you or anything. There were no hard-ball questions. It was a friendly, relaxed conversation.

Have you heard anything back from them since your interview?

Just had a MedSurg interview, haven't heard anything from OR or Children's ED, and only messages from ICU manager as well.
