Just wondering if anybody went to or is going to Keiser University's nursing program?
Hey all! I am going to start at Keiser with the core in January. I have all my stuff completed (TEAS, Interview, letters of rec, resume etc...) I decided to wait until January because I just had a baby and want to be able to spend more time with her as well as with my older daughter. My oldest is only 18mo and my youngest is now 4mo so I didn't feel comfortable putting them in daycare yet. I'm really excited to start the program! There is a small part of me that wants it to hurry up and be January already! But then there is a more rational part that says no no no, I'm okay waiting!
Its going to be stressful and hectic! Keisers program is as challenging as any other program. My friend graduated from the Tallahassee campus and is working and doing well! She was offered a job right out of the program. Her and I both have a BS from FSU in Exercise Physiology so although the degree is an Associates, we also have a bachelors - as do many other people on this board.
I read the threads and get nervous about finding a job after graduation but I really feel that its got a lot to do with where a person lives. I have another friend that is a physical therapist in the hospital and she has said how she has come across Keiser nursing grads that are really great and very well prepared. So its good to know that others in the program are representing the school very well!
I wish you all luck with your program since many of you are starting up in just a few days!! Please report back to us with how it is going once you begin!!
