I was getting familiar in this forum (I posted a couple of responses in the PBISON thread several minutes ago.)
But I was wondering are there any aspiring nursing applicants out there in NYC who would be applying next year to any programs? Anyone attending NYC City Tech, BMCC, Laguardia, Queensborough, Kingsborough (it doesn't even matter as long as you're in NYC, (smile) Would like to have an application buddy or buddies. I figured maybe I can get to know some folks now and as we we get closer to the deadlines, we will dive into the process together.

No I'm not taking any classes this summer, I was going to but decided to take it in Fall. Is A&P hard since its like 4 days a week in summer? It's alot of information to take in such a short period of time.
for me is not hard because the info they give in bmcc for a&p2 is the same info they give for a&p1 in lagcc i know because i took a&p1 there ...so i just gotta review it is stuff i already knew and also since is such a short time they cut off alot of the material just teach details you need not stuff that isnt nessesary.
Nope I haven't heard anything yet..I am starting to think its not going to happen this week and that they will call next week....another person I knew applied and she didn't get any call yet either..
I am also waiting along with 3 of my friends that attend BMCC. If I hear anything I will post as well. From my understanding when i spoke to Mr. Sierra he said he would call either the first or second week of June.
By the way i think its much easier to get in the evening program with less applicant than the day program. I thought the GPA for last year's evening program was a 3.68 and for the day program 3.77.
If I do get accepted to the clinical i will only need to take micro and will not be taking it with my clinical i will take in the summer of 10. Micro is not offered in the winter at bmcc.

The cutoff was for the program in general or was it for just the evening program? I hope we hear something by the end of the week at least.
