Any Nursing Applicants For Fall 2009?

U.S.A. New York

Published

HELLO Future Nurses!!!

I was getting familiar in this forum (I posted a couple of responses in the PBISON thread several minutes ago.)

But I was wondering are there any aspiring nursing applicants out there in NYC who would be applying next year to any programs? Anyone attending NYC City Tech, BMCC, Laguardia, Queensborough, Kingsborough (it doesn't even matter as long as you're in NYC, (smile) Would like to have an application buddy or buddies. I figured maybe I can get to know some folks now and as we we get closer to the deadlines, we will dive into the process together.

Feel free to respond here or send me any messages, and we can swap email addresses or something.

thank you...yeah am happy also i am going to get mines tommorow

Hi everyone,

so did those of you who got accepted to bmcc, have you picked up your package?

I picked it up last tuesday

Hi Diana sg!

So you accepted bmcc, i saw you applied for another school too. It stinks that it is a lottery for the day classes, I hope I get the morning class as that would be much easier for me. HOw about you?

Did you see how much stuff we had to read.

yea i apply to two toher school just in case i didnt want to be lefted in the dark but my first choice is bmcc..everyone i know wants also the morning including me lol i also hope to get it... have you done any for the paperwork so far ????

I filled out the papers, but didnt do anything with them yet. I want to order the books so i can start doing the reading sometime in July. I think i am doing the cpr classes in bayside but i see we have another option which is $55 for bmcc students, if this is cheaper than the other one i may do it instead. How about you, have you done anything with the papers yet?

no not yet but am sending the insurance thing tommorow...the books are expensive .... am doing the cpr class in bmcc they start in july ... for the nursing shoes they can't be sneakers at all?? do you know?

not sure about the shoes, but maybe we could use plain white sneakers. I was going to wait until orientation to see if they say anything about it or showed examples of what kind of shoes were acceptable. Yeah the books are really expensive, Im just going to buy the required then see elsewhere if they have the recommended books cheaper. THanks for reminding me I should mail the stuff too. Are the cpr classes everyday at bmcc?
