I am currently at Miami Dade College fulfilling prerequisites in order to apply for the Nursing program that starts fall 2009. I'd like to be in touch with other career changers who after getting a bachelor's in a non-nursing field decided to pursue the program at Miami Dade College.

HELLO EVERYONE!! OK I AM ANXIOUS.. I SIGNED UP FOR THE FALL 2009 TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM AT MDC. I WORK AT BAPTIST SO I DRIVE ALL THE NURSING STUDENTS CRAZY ABOUT WHEN DID THEY RECEIVE THEIR LETTER, MY FRIEND GOT HERS LAST YEAR ON MAY 30TH SO THATS ABOUT WHAT I AM EXPECTING.. IS ANYONE ELSE WAITING FOR THE TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM??

Olif1 applied to Generic Full time, I applied to Generic Part time.........This wait is worst than waiting for a baby to be born at the end of 9 months........tomorrow will be 3 weeks since the deadline and next friday will be 4 weeks......I know they said dont stress but this is so much pressure since my life is like on hold for now ..........................I wish you luck as well. When i called yesterday the lady on phone claimed the last week of June beginning of JULY i think they told her to say that so that we can stop calling LOL

I got a big yellow envelope last year. But, I guess things are running a little latethis year. Have you guys gone to the information session yet, or are you still waiting to hear about that?

We are still waiting to hear period ...........Nothing has come through no email no letter in the mail. We are clue-less.....So it's definite then that a white envelope holds the "Sorry try again" letter and the yellow envelope holds the "CONGRATULATIONS" letter.....Well the end of May is here and fast approaching so hopefully we will find out something so that we can move on .........But THANK YOU I was reading that on the post but was not sure if it was actually true........Hope your doing well so far .......

i am not accepted i was communicating with ymarti who has been a big help with given us information. i applied to the part time generic program with a 3.53 gpa so i hope to get in for the fall of 09'. what did you apply to ? what is you gpa now?
