Any Miami Dade College students going for the acceler. or Generic option fall 2009?

I am currently at Miami Dade College fulfilling prerequisites in order to apply for the Nursing program that starts fall 2009. I'd like to be in touch with other career changers who after getting a bachelor's in a non-nursing field decided to pursue the program at Miami Dade College.

i applied for spring 2010 because i was rejected for fall 2009 and i'm waiting on a response from them again.. i called them but they havent made a decision on the cutoff gpa yet..anyone with the same issue?! :uhoh3:

I also applied for spring 2010. I hope the wait won't be like the last time. That was awful! I'm praying that I get in this time.

If I remember correctly my acceptance letter for the spring start was September 26th. So u should get ur letter round that time I'm assuming. Good luck!!

round two he he he lets hope this time is diffrent. I called on August 31 and was told that there were much less applications this time around and that meant more chances for students with less than a 3.8 :]

yeah I guess there's less applications because people were getting discouraged but not us!! lol.. hopefully guys! i'm counting the days till the 26th.. :) but any any emails you guys receive or anything! just let us know

I thought you aren't allowed to apply until you have completed your pre recs? Can I start applying? After this semester the only classes I have left are: microbio, human anatomy physiology 2 and its lab,statistics and languages

you don't need statistic as a pre-req I am not sure but the A and P class with lab you need to have it done before, when I was is microbiology class there were people already in the program but they told me it is very difficult, to have it in top of the nursing class (not recommended).:nono:
