Just wanted to touch basis with my fellow June NCLEX test takers. I know we're all nervous and studying to the point of exhaustion but we can do this!!! Whether this is your first attempt or your third attempt, we're going to pass!
I take mine June 13th at 8:00am and I plan on doing the PVT trick later that day even though I'm believing/claiming that I've already passed.
Hey sure, for that question....in order to get the drip factor you just do, (volume) x (gtts/min) divided by the time .... so you would do 1000 ml x 15 which equals 15,000 and then divide that by 720 minutes (mulitply 60x 12)...which is 20.8 so the answer should be 21....I don't know if you can go back and check that for the question and see if thats correct but I'm pretty sure.
My exam is on the 22nd! I"m starting to get nervous, Qtrainer 5-61 and 6-56:uhoh3:
My Qbank has been average in mid-50s upper60s but I just hope thats good enough, trying to stay positive!!!
can someone help me solve this problem?A client has an order of IV fluid of D5 0.45% normal saline 1000 cc to run from 9am to 9pm. the drip factor on the delivery tubing is 15gtt/min. the nurse should adjust the iv to infuse at??
Use the IV rate formula 1000 x 15 = 15000
12 x 60=720
15000/720 = 20.8 or 21 gtt/min
I took my test yesterday at 8 am. Screen shut off at 75 questions and I got the good pop up. I used Kaplan and my highest qtrainer was 62 and my average on the qbanks was low 60%. I think if you read every rationale right and wrong and not really focus on the scores you will be fine. Now looking back at the test Kaplans questions were harder than the real test but laid out and asked the same way. I feel kaplan really helped me. Good luck to everyone
I did it! I passed! I took it at 8am yesterday. I did 75 questions. I had about 10 SATA, 6-8 meds, 1 math and the rest were teaching/priority/infection control! I got the good pop up about 2 hours later and my name was on the BON at 4pm!!!! I didn't even have to pay for quick results!!!!
