I did all the question trainers for Kaplan, and the entire Qbank, unused questions only...I did the Saunders Comprehensive Assessment and read afew of the chapters it told me I was weakest in but other than that I mainly focused on questions. For Qtrainer 7 I went through it and for the ones I got wrong I wrote down the topic and correct answers I also started to do this towards the end w/ my Qbanks....and would read them through several times Also, I memorized all my lab values and conversions (hardly needed them but its good to know for the few questions that may come up) Then I just wrote out meds w/ a few basics like, with/without food, no grapefruit juice, and which ones were toxic to what areas, I didnt memorize this just read it over several times hoping that the endings would stick in the event i got it in a question. After doing this my Qbank scores started getting into the low 70s... I had alot of prioritization on the exam but I feel like all you can do is practice....

got my quick results today, i PASSED!!!!

OMG, i finished my exam about an hour ago, when I got to the 75 question I literally held my breathe when I pressed next kind of hoping to get a few more questions b/c I was unsure of how I did....but it SHUT OFF and I was like thats it i guess i FAILEDDDD ....i got about 8 SATAs, 1 exhibit, and no med calcs...a few med questions and some drugs I didn't know...lots of prioritization.... on pearson vue it said sucessfully delivered and I got the good pop up!!!!!!!!!!! ahhh, I know this doesn't mean anything for real but it made me feel a lot better I can't wait to check for my offical results with in the next 2 days!

I am starting to get SO nervous for my exam, its on Wednesday! I finished qtrainer 7 and got a 60% on it....and my qbank average is a 55% and i've done a total of 87% of the questions....recently i've been getting between 60-68s on my qbank, but I'm just really starting to worry if its good enough or not, I just feel like my test is so soon. But regardless I'm not going to reschedule, i'd just build up more anxiety of i did.

kaplan says aim for 60 on Qtrainer 6 or 7 so it seems like a 67 would be really good for Qtrainer 6 but thats just my opinion...

Hey sure, for that question....in order to get the drip factor you just do, (volume) x (gtts/min) divided by the time .... so you would do 1000 ml x 15 which equals 15,000 and then divide that by 720 minutes (mulitply 60x 12)...which is 20.8 so the answer should be 21....I don't know if you can go back and check that for the question and see if thats correct but I'm pretty sure. My exam is on the 22nd! I"m starting to get nervous, Qtrainer 5-61 and 6-56:uhoh3: My Qbank has been average in mid-50s upper60s but I just hope thats good enough, trying to stay positive!!!

turns out they LOST my application, but I had a tracking number, it took several supervisors, multiple days/phonecalls, and a ridiculous number of hours, but i FINALLY got my ATT!

I have my exam scheduled for 6/22, and I feel like its just coming sooo quickly, I've been doing questions every day, I either do a Qbank or one of the Qtrainers. Sofar my I've done 70% of Qbank scores ranging from 44(in hte beginning) to 68. Qtrainer 1: 45 Qtrainer2: 53 Qtrainer 3: 55 Qtrainer 4: 55 Qtrainer 5: 61 Qtrainer 6: 56 Qtrainer 7: planning to do. Qbank average: 55% I don't plan on pushing my exam out I know that would just add anxiety. I just feel the stress building because I have a job lined up and If I were to fail I would lose my job and I feel like I'd be back at square one again. I'm trying to remain positive but I"m starting to get nervous. I know I"ll never be able to be 100% ready but how are these scores in comparison to the possibility of passing??

I sent all my paperwork in overnight express 5/19 and tracked online to see it made it to the BON on the 20th, I applied for my license in DC, and it doesn't seem like I can check the status of the paperwork online at all. I've heard for other states it can take anywhere from days to weeks to get your ATT, and even though I just sent my information in I have no patience. I have a job already lined up that starts in july and it requires me to have passed my NCLEX for me to start it! So i'd like to be able to schedule my exam asap, anyone have any idea how long it takes to hear back, or how long I should wait to call the BON and ask them about my paperwork??

Hey, so I realize that you last posted your questions in feb. but I just graduated from Catholic this May with my BSN. I was the first class to go through their new program, however they are constantly changing it and for the better I think. The staff is amazing, really supportive especially as you move through to your junior and senior years. You don't really get much control over your schedule tho, I remember sitting down in orientation, and getting handed my four year plan minus my four electives. The trouble with the electives is the nursing classes have only 1 section and meeting during that time only so you have to plan the electives around clinicals/class so sometimes you don't get the ones you want. I found it easier to live on campus for all four years because I didn't bring my car down at all, and we have a metro stop right on campus which made getting to clinical easier, and we had clinical sites in maryland and virginia as well as DC. Otherwise, our class got good with carpooling. Unfortunately I didn't get as much experience in the sim lab as I would have liked, however on the last day of one of our senior classes we got to sit down with the people who put the program together to talk about what we thought would be helpful for future nursing classes. One of things we told them was more time in the sim lab, and they have listened to our class about other advise about the program when our grade was the first to go through some other changes as well, so that will probably be integrated soon.
