I'm an LPN student and I *plan to* get my RN through Excelsior. Does that count? :) I'm in Sanford, and my school is in Orlando.

Hi, much blessings in your LPN course, we're looking to close on a home in Sanford, just waiting to hear the final word in a few days...When you ever get ready to do some Excelsior perhaps we can be support to each other.

Lots of love and blessings :)

Hey, I am in Deland and am gonna start EC after my English Lit Class is over at Daytona Beach Community College.

How are you liking EC? I am scared to do it, but I just can't wait to go traditional.

Hi there,

Eustis checking in here! Just filled out the app for Excelsior. Don't know if it's too late to helpful to study together - where are you at now?

Hi, I live in Orlando area. I have finished all general education courses and NC 1 and 2, studying for NC3. I enjoy e-mail from other students, try joining Excelsior study group on yahoo, lots of useful information files...email [email protected] and ask for an invite, thats the only way you can join.

i honestly wouldn't worry about finding others for a study group in your local area until you get to the CPNE.

when you prepare for that exam, it's essential that you find people who are going through EC to practice PCS'S with. one of you plays the nurse, and one plays the CE.

best of luck to you.

Even when you get to the CPNE you really can do it without a study buddy. I used my family to practice with for the CPNE. It would be helpful to find a local study buddy...but not necessary.

i guess it depends on your experience. if you've been an lpn for a long time, it would be a lot easier than being a paramedic for only 3 months :).

i found a study partner, in fact two of them. we got together for a weekend, and it made a huge difference. all 3 of us passed!

hello, my name is Shay. I'm in desperate need of some advice! I just completed the entire ADN program at PCCUA community college but I wasn't able to pass the Hesi exit exam on July 6, 2006. Without saying I was devastated. So now I need some direction from you all. They make you sit out for a whole semester before coming back to take another Hesi to get back in. If you don't pass it then you are not eligible to come back there ever. That also means that I will not be eligible to transfer to another college because I wouldn't be eligible to come back there. All confusing huh, I know.If I passed the hesi, I would only have 1 class which is lab. If I don't I lose everything! So I guess what I'm trying to ask is do you think excelsior would work for me. I have called excelsior trying to find out the cost and everything but they don't give you any direct answers. So I would like to know: How much do you think it would cost me approximately? How long would it take to complete if I studied daily? Is it possible to complete the nursing courses in

Hi everyone, I am in Deltona just began EC, i think it will be helpful to have a group in this same area

ok. i'm showing my lack of knowlege again. What's an ADN exactly? how does ADN, ASN, AAS stack up against each other? are they interchangable depending on where you live? btw, i'm in palm beach co. too far for everyday studying but could be available for the cpne.
