I work 7a - 7 p, hospital base pay21.05, average 23.25, orlando florida, love the weather and beaches, much to do. reasonable house prices now, 20 mins from beach.

Hey Guys, Hard to get a respnse to this good question, ya'll must be so busy unable to comment. I have been speaking withdiffernet hospitals in the area. Would appreciate any insight from other LPN's presently working. Which hospitals hire, please give us some insight, will be relocating there in a few weeks would appreciate any and all info, are you being kept busy working overtime,pay benefits bonuses? Always thoought Memphis was a beautiful area, I am interested in relocating there and have check with some hospital for info and salary range, first they want you to fill out application, unable to do that waiting for licencse to come from there, I have heard you are able to work in Arkansas and Miss also. My son is in college there and a Marine reservist so I would like to move closer to him if poss. I am looking for a nice area to live in but would like to know what the hospitals are like, patient load , 12 hour shifts shift diff's, bonuses, overtime, what happens when your census goes down does the hosital send you home, does Memphis have a slow time of year, which are the better hospital to work at, as you can see I have many questions. When i visited Memphis last year I was impressed with the friendliness of its people, I wish someone would be able to give me some important information. I have been to salary.com not sure if that range is adequate. Thanks

Lisa, thanks so much, your info very helpful, i like miss, i need to come look at the areas there i hear it is very progressive, alot of good things happening in that area, do your know if you have a tri-stae licensce there? also do hosp there pay bonuses or offer overtime. i have heard great things about the area brookhaven, any info.
