Any College of Dupage nursing students out there? Or hopefuls?

I have been trying to find other COD nursing student hopefuls or current students anyone out there?

Wcc is a little sneaky. I'm live in an area that is in the COD district, but we also pay taxes for the wcc aurora building. So that means they will give me resident status. So I thought I'd go to Wcc, which of course, they allowed me to apply. THEN told me that they take residents first (and I am not considered a resident for program purposes, just tuition), and that they have never admitted a non-resident. Thanks for telling me before I took a couple of classes and paid fees!!

Td, I wish I could take it in March, but I'm in Micro on tues & thurs evenings. I'd love to have the summer off. Otherwise, I'm looking to take an evening course with ****** too.

RS, I'm down if it works for our schedules :) are you looking to take day or evening class?

I am kinda open. The only thing is I have the CNA (once again) in march so nursing 1100 doesn't work then. So I am kinda open. I'd rather do it the seond half so I don't get burnt out. The time are open because the daycare I have in mind is open until 10 and early morning.

So pm if you can and let me know.

Of course we are planning crazy ahead of time but I have a good feeling. I just hope the registration time isn't when I'm on vacation.

Napermom, are you taking ***** for Micro? My son goes to preschool near you. He goes to Just for Kids Preschool.

I wish I was taking it from *****! I tried, but it filled up like the first day! I was in the second round for registration. Are you in Micro now, or do you have it done. I have my first test today, and I don't feel ready at all. I have a 4.0 but I think class might just be the end of that! It's killing me! I can't believe how detailed my teacher wants us to get - we have to draw from scratch a picture of a gram-negative and also a gram-positive cell wall and lable ALL the parts. Some of the words I will never be able to remember :(

Oh, and your son's preschool is right by me! Is your son going to clow next year? My son is

Rs, I know, we are all acting like we are in :) that's good to be optimistic! I hope the orientation time isn't when you are on vacation

I hate to say it but alot of these science pre req's it all depends on what teacher you have. You can bust your butt in *****'s class and an A is obtainable and then you get someone like ***** who has essay questions on his tests and you work just as hard and you get a B. I took ***** and got an A in micro. I wish I would have taken him for Anatomy because I know I would have gotten A's instead of B's. I live near River Bend on Boughton, so my son will be going to Builta. I also have a son who is a Junior at Neuqua.

Td, How did you know I have ***** ;)? Yeah, he's a great teacher, but it's really tough material for me and I like multiple choice! I am WAY better at recognition than recall, so I am not looking forward to tonight and the essays. Sad to see my 4.0 go, but I think it will . I hate that it depends on the teacher you get, but you are so right.

Good luck with your exam tonight! I have a medical terminology exam tonight so I better go brush up. TTYL

good luck to you too!

One of my friends had ***** for micro and really enjoyed his class (she received an A). My micro teacher was just blah...I had signed up for another notoriously difficult instructor, but she pulled a switcharoo on our class so we ended up with someone different.
