Wow, I wish we only had a one week wait! Our applications are due 1 May, but we don't find out until the end of July (or early August)! I have no idea why it takes so long, it's a tiny program, and based on points, gpa, hesi.
I hate waiting too. This summer will be rough!! And the worst part is we start in August... So we only have a couple weeks to get everything together.
My deadline was January 31 and they'll start sending out emails mid to late this month. It's a highly competitive BSN program. Sixty-four spots and nearly 200 applicants. It's all I can do to not think about it every five minutes, but luckily my A&P II and Micro are keeping me busy. Soon enough!

Which State are you in, HopefulNurse? This sounds a bit like the program I hope to attend.

Hello everyone!
I have been haunting these discussion boards since I decided i wanted to become a nurse. I started my pre-nursing pathway a couple years ago and am so excited to say that I was finally able to apply to the nursing school of my dreams! The deadline for fall '17 semester was the 1st of February. I was told by the nursing director that she would have the 30 candidates selected a week after the deadline.
Since I became eligible to apply I had been over the moon extatic! But now that I'm having to wait for selections I find my self far more anxious and bothered by things that never bug me. I'm usually as chill as a cucumber.
Have others felt the same way or am I overthinking the outcomes? Anyways please chime in.
