Okay you guys, I'm really sorry about this! The other 2 need to be deleted.
Did becoming a nurse persuade whether you believed in God or not?

Nope. Had no bearing whatsoever. :)

My beliefs have changed over the years and I can no longer call myself a Christian. I was a Christian when I started nursing. I'm not sure what in my life's journey changed my views, but I'm pretty sure the medical field didn't have anything to do with it. (Nope it wasn't Satan either.)
What would you call yourself now? Just curious.
Hugry and searching. But agnostic with no affliation and no lable. Right now I'm studying Eastern religions Yoga and Buddhism. :)

I always believed that there was "a" God. Didn't become a Christian until I was 28 and after alot of searching.
Nursing strengthens my faith as does raising children and being married and living life.

Thanx, Steph... I was wanting to say sth. along this line, and didn't quite know how to put it without being longwinded....... (who, ME??? ) Heh.
But you just did it... in four simple words. :)
Now why can't I do that?

I'm not a nurse (yet) - but the older I get, the more skeptical I get. I used to consider myself a Christian, but now I think I'm more of a borderline agnostic/seeker. I'd like to believe in the Christian God, but I just have too much doubt. "He" doesn't "feel" real to me sometimes.

it's learning the process of logical rational thinking that eliminates and overcomes all myths (god, jesus, santa claus, etc.)! and not debasing my thought processes to dreams, wishing, magic, or any fantasies. proof! god disappears and all religions appear what they are silly superstition and mindless rituals.it's learning the process of logical rational thinking that eliminates and overcomes all myths (god, jesus, santa claus, etc.)! and not debasing my thought processes to dreams, wishing, magic, or any fantasies. proof! god disappears and all religions appear what they are silly superstition and mindless rituals.
