My first pregnancy resulted in twins. It's definitely a roller coaster ride and the first five years was a blur :whe!:. You will find that anyone who IS a twin, HAS twins, or WANTS twins, will stop you wherever you go to make comments and have conversation.
My twins colluded together at 18 months to pull our 27 inch tv off the intertainment center (thank God they weren't hurt). From 12-24 months I had a hard time keeping them off the top of the refrigerator (they liked to climb) and from the moment they could walk neither one wanted to go in the same direction. They would be happy as clams toodling in the yard, and then lickitty split start running in opposite directions as fast as their little legs could carry them.
I feel blessed that my first parenting experience was with twins because never having to have cared for just one child at a time, I never experienced anything but HAVING to care for two at a time (It was just normal to have everything times 2).
Its hard, but hey, nobody said parenting was easy!!
Congradulations again, you got the two for one deal

Congratulations!:smiley_aa
We have two sets of twins, they bring lots of joy but also lots of work. Sleep while you still can, seemed like ours never slept at the same time. Luckily they are now 18 and 14, but if we could choose, we would have them as sets again, would not want to miss out on all the joyful events.
and congrats on getting married soon also. May this pregnancy go smoothly for you two, ah four I mean :wink2:

Amen to that! But while some parents of twins found it intrusive and obnoxious, I always enjoyed it, or at least recognized that they were sharing something that was special to them.
The ones I *did* get tired of were the "double trouble" comments and one of my husband's relatives who made a comment about a litter. :uhoh21:
Congratulations:heartbeat:heartbeat, and blessings on you, your wife, and your little ones. 13 years later, I can still say that my sons are la luz de mi vida.
