$300 anhour ?

Ok so I just spent 300 bucks for information literacy with EC and it has taken me ONE HOUR to get through all 5 modules ? R U kidding me

? There are things that 6 year olds know on that test. I am also in the second shift of a double on about two hours of sleep sooo... I dont need my RN, I need to open an info lit store in the mall. Id make a killing. Sorry to rant but that was alot of cash for what I got. 6 creds of A&P didnt cost me that much.:banghead:

LOL...we didn't have to take that when I was an EC student. What does it entail?

:lol2: Soory for the lol here but I felt the same way, are they kidding us. Unless you have no ties to the real world and dwell in the middle of nowhere how could you not know this information. Even most 80yrs old have some since of the computer.

LOL!!! I know, I know!

Thank goodness I took that one first, back in 2006, when it was a wee bit less expensive. It's that expensive because it is technically one of their "online" courses. Crazy, I know. But believe it or not, people actually fail it.

BBFRN, it consists of 5 modules on stuff like copyright, fair use, how search engines work, etc. I think I got 100% on the final. :D

When I took it it was $200. I printed out all the information and took the exam. It probably took me 4 hours. I found it very interesting and informative but not worth the money I spent. I'm pretty computer savvy and we have to take computer security classes at work since I work for the government. I feel your frustration. I feel like I'm just giving money away lately. ha ha ha

I feel it will be a total waste of money for me. I wish I could bypass that and the FCCA!!!!!!LOL

I'm a programmer of years' standing, have a diploma from The Chubb Institute, and still had to take it.

I paid, I didn't read, I conquered.

Took me 2 hours and did not learn a thing. I mean you can print the whole course and then use it when you take the " test ". Got 100% on all the quizzes and test. As far as it being an online " class ", that is expensive reading I agree. Does not really teach you anything. If you can log on to do the course, you know the material.:clown: LOL, but I guess it is just one of those things you have to do to get your degree. That's just my :twocents:.
