Anatomy & Physiology Fall 2008

Published

Several had mentioned starting a study thread early so we could get prepared for our fall A&P class, so here goes. I have gathered several websites from both here and on my own, so wanted to post them early on so that we wouldn't have to search for them. Please feel free to add to them and also any advice or study tactics that seem to work for you.

Thankyou to Eveyone here at AllNurses who have provided so much information in one spot.

Ok, that's it for tonight....I have several others but hopefully this will keep everyone busy for a day or 2 :chuckle:yeah:I'm sure we all have diferent study habits and will need to find our own way there but I am hoping we can work together as a study team.

Maybe each day or two, someone could provide a study tip or an mneumonics for memorization for tissues or nerves, anything that is helping you learn. Or if you come accross somethin that you can't use, maybe someone else can.

 OFF to Bed for me

I am plan on taking the TEAS in January. Enrollment office said its better to take after Dosage Cal. class and Anatomy. Yep I hope to get in same time you are mcb...

hi~does anybody know if we need the CD that comes with the 7th ed Human Anatomy/Physiolgy book by Marieb? just seeing if i can do without and find a cheaper used one...thanks!

I wish I could have purchased a used book....we were required to have the new edition and the required Lab book to go w/it....comes w/a webtutorial that is awsome....

I am now working on the tissues....I've got gotten everything before that stored in my brain for the first week of school....I truly think the muscles are going to be the hardest.

Hi Belle, Are you wondering about the physiology suite cd or the website access that is a companion to the text? My book came with both, I think that the website access is invaluable and I am really glad that I got it with the text because I usually don't buy those things separate when a used text is available.

IMHO, I would get it. As far as the physiology cd is concerned, It is pretty good too.

Hope that helps.

The website is only $40 though. So if you find the book cheap enough you can get the website separately.
