I am new to this website. But wishing everyone luck I'm also qualified and waiting for acceptance letter. This is my second time applying. So hoping to get in. Sac city won't change their acceptance unless you get in.

Regarding Sac. City, do you only receive a status change if you get in? Does anyone know?

Just so you guys know.. Just because your application qualified it doesn't mean your automatically placed into the lottery pool. It just means you've met the minimum qualifications for ARC's nursing program. They take the top 1/3 students which historically has been people with 70 points or more and place them into a lotto pool and choose from just those people. So unless they don't have enough people with 70 points or more (which they typically always do), you probably don't have a chance this go around. You're options are to try and gather more points for the next application cycle or apply to a different program that doesn't have a specific point cut off.

Hmm...I think I have exactly 70 points. Do you know if 70 is always the minimum? Or can they increase the min # of points for the lottery...Thanks for the info!

I would say that as long as you have 70 points, you are included in the lottery. If you click on the link below it shows that they usual include all those applicants with 70+ points.

A friend of mine told me that the Fall '16 class was chosen yesterday. We should know something maybe tomorrow, or next week! I can't guarantee this for certain, but I wanted to pass this info along to you all.

I couldn't agree more! My stomach is in knots now though...

I applied last semester, and obviously didn't make it. When I checked the threads on here, I saw everyone getting acceptance emails, along with the people on the waitlist. I received the email that I was qualified, but wasn't selected on Monday or Tuesday, I believe. Knowing this, I'll be trolling this thread pretty hard tomorrow.

Not to shout but, TOMORROW?? I was told it would be 8 weeks after application period closed! Does your friend have an inside track to ARC's ADN Program? This is really getting my hopes up... good luck everyone!

I honestly would be shocked if notices went out earlier than the week of April 25th. If the pattern stays the same for the Fall 2015 class- it looks like April 28th was the day notices were sent out.
