I won’t be heart broken though because it doesn’t hurt to try! Most of these programs are so competitive, it’s not even funny. I have my reservations if I can’t get into my preferred programs.
I’ve done Lonestar, HCC, San Jac, and Alvin and yes my options are open as well. I don’t mind bridging over as a transition from LVN to RN simply because I work full time in the day and I also love my job and bills gots to get paid LOL

I wish you luck as you apply. I honestly do not know a lot about this race but I am scheduled for the online applicant meeting today. All I know is that I have way better chance here in Texas than when I was in California where it is mostly by lottery regardless of how fantastic one's grades were.
How do you schedule an online information session?

I'm considering taking it, even though both of the professors teaching the course have horrid ratings on RMP. Although those should be taken with a grain of salt, I have regretted taking some professors others warned against. What do you guys think?

Haha, it is a bit difficult to find. I also found another class, taught at Lonestar. It's for patho and it's a 6-week online course, instead of the entire Summer like at HCC. Couldn't find reviews on the professor teaching it. Might be a good thing.

The deadline was extended to April 10th due to all this Coronavirus stuff but I don’t mind LOL I just found out about this nursing program 2 or 3 days ago, applied and got accepted to the school then immediately applied to the nursing program. I have a Bachelors in Criminal Justice which helps ? and IDK the in-district tax bracket distance but I’m in the middle of moving to Pearland now. I was reading the previous forums and here are my stats:
my HESI cumulative score was an 86A&P l: B
A&P ll : A
English: B
Psych: A
Pre-Req GPA- 3.50
I made a C in Microbiology but IDK if this is counted in the GPA, I hope not because I want to re-take it during the program, if accepted. ?? I pray that it all works in God’s will for everyone
The GPA of all relevant courses submitted at time of application are counted. All in progress courses will need to be retaken (made me sad). I think they may let you take it again.

It's a good idea to collaborate. I would love to take the 6week ones and be done with it. I understand your not wanting to deal with bad reviewed professors...one of my last Professors made me cry daily till a faculty meeting had to be called. Depending on what the review is about, I could decide to just "suffer" for the 6 weeks, knowing that I will never see them during or ever again after.
Please do you mind posting specific links to the classes? Maybe to the reviews too?

It looks like HCC is offering two 8-week session classes online for Pathophysiology. It’s under HPRS (health professions) in the course catalog.
