I am not. I will apply and see. Based on what was posted, the 6 week class is in June. I hope we can still get credit for it. By the way, I called Chamberlain again. I saw reviews about how rude they can be and experienced it first hand when I mentioned that I have a BS from my country as well as college credits here. The lady refused to schedule an appointment with counselor unless I was a US community college graduate at least! When she rudely hung up, I called someone else who said she already had both my transcripts and instantly scheduled an appointment. Basically, what I am saying is that there will be horrible people trying to stand in the way of this goal of ours. PLEASE let us swallow our pride so we can get to our destination and leave those people behind.

That’s good you finally have an appt scheduled! And yes, no school is perfect when you think about it. There are horrible and mean people everywhere. Unfortunately, I’ve heard from too many nursing students that they had to swallow their pride and deal with disrespect from a teacher, counselor or a preceptor. It happens everywhere in every field. It’s sad when people can’t just treat each other with respect.

Also, I already submitted my application to LoneStar. You might want to do it fast because it looks like Summer class registration has been open since March 1st for them.

The new deadline was today. I guess the official "waiting period" begins today, guys! They still haven't acknowledged one of my transcripts I submitted last month but I'm sure they have it. The coordinator did tell me because of the coronavirus, they were behind on everything.

I'm going to try and not bother them about anything until decisions come out, haha.

I suspect we will hear back by late May or early September, assuming everything lightens up with COVID.

I believe the last cohort apps were due Sept. 3, and we found out on November 14, to start Spring 20. If, I'm not mistaken Fall starts August 24.

Oops. Yeah, you’re right. I meant June. I must’ve been thinking about a different deadline for something else when writing that.

Maybe they're still really behind on everything and trying to catch up. I attended one of the first applicant meetings in-person when they were doing them that way. I contacted the coordinator about one of my transcripts being received + updated and she told me she was behind on 200+ applications. That was about a week or so ago.

I'm currently at WGU, its not that bad they give u deadlines to have things done. My only issue is the lack of resources like study guides and what to be prepared for the test, but non the less there have been plenty of people who succeed in this program.
