You're right HCC does have a program.I just found out that they did surpass the 80% needed to continue having a program so they are no longer on probation and their status HAS been updated from conditional to FULL accredidation.

I think Sam Houston State was one of them, I can't recall the other. She only mentioned two in the meeting I attended. I would be scared to go to a school that was on probation. I wouldn't want to be in a situation like the ITT Tech people. anyways I'm glad they got that cleared up.

I've developed a bad lip-biting habit since Sept 30. LOL But seriously...I have. It's 1:11am and I'm up on this forum and checking email. I am so excited and so nervous at the same time. But I am also humbled and grateful for this journey. :)

I just read through the whole thread, thought I would post my stats for everyone. I know I am always curious what someone else's are.

Preq GPA 4.0

I have completed Ethics-A, and in process this semester of Life-span, and Micro. I am curious to know how many of you have completed all the non-nursing courses in the program?

HESI was %88.4

If I don't get in this go around I am going to start working on the BSN classes. Good luck everyone, I know it is so nerve racking.

Hi! My prereq GPA is a 4.0, I got a 95% on the HESI and I've completed all the non-nursing courses required. I've been accepted into HCC Coleman College and we got official word that they are back to full accredidation. I know that Alvin is an amazing program but at this point I may have to go with HCC since I live in Katy which is soooooo far from Alvin! But anyways just wanted to let you know my stats! Yours are great!!!

Wow S&P201214, those are impressive stats! I Would say you earned your spot at HCC Coleman for sure! Best of luck and Congrats on acceptance! I feel like that is the hardest part of this journey is getting accepted into a program ; )

well the paperwork they handed out at the information session said they may start sending notification on the 11th.. so lets all keep our fingers crossed and best wishes to everyone. I'm hoping to get in and I'm so anxious but at the same time it would not be so terrible to have an additional few months to get on track with my bills since I'll have to quit my job... I don't know what freaks me out the most starting the program or losing my paycheck..

I'm in the position, I will stop working completely. I am just anxious to find out, I want to know just to mentally prepare for whatever comes next! Good luck to everyone!
