  1. Dang it. Looks like I'll have to keep applying. BeSt wishes everyone!
  2. OK don't laugh but I get excited to see guys applying for nursing.. best wishes and I hope we get to work together
  3. I was thinking about the whole ranking process. I do believe they already know who gets in automatically based on their ranking score but I suppose they need to make us wait in order to be in close proximity to other schools. I suppose they don't want people to accept than change their minds if they get accepted somewhere else. Just a thought
  4. Sounds great. I'm excited, confused and intrigued about this program. I heard there's online lectures and online classes. It seems convinient but I need class time. My biggest downfall is procrastination.
  5. I try to play it cool but I seem to check my email and WebAdvisor a few times a day..lol.. after looking through the thread for Fall 2016 I noticed people got a response withing 2 weeks with the alternates the beginning of June. I notices a person that was 2nd in the alternates list got in and her score was 728. Just some info I found. COM responds quickly in comparison to other schools. They seem to be straight forward. I wish everyone (including myself) the best of luck. If I make it in I look forward to being close with all of you.
  6. Can anyone explain how to calculate your score. I know it's weighted GPA + TSI + Science GPA+ Previous degree = Ranking score but can anyone give me the scoring for each?
  7. this site will not let us put up links. we re-named it "C/O Fall 2018" Log into Facebook | Facebook link is up hope it will take you to it
  8. is your math backwards? wouldn't it be 360 min divided by 265 questions? that gives you an average of 1.35 min per question. Am I looking at this wrong?
  9. started a facebook group so we can communicate.. can't wait to meet all of you look for "Alvin Community College - class of 2018"

  11. Hi guys I's like to keep in touch though facebook if yall don't mind. Look me up and we can get though this course together. You guys in the program will be my new family. Page Not Found | Facebook
  12. I had a friend check my email and it looks like we both made in into the program!! I'm very excited to get started and I wish everyone the best!!
  13. I am also ready for my BSN and I have everything complete but I'm finding very competitive out there. UT Health had somewhere around 1200 applicants and they only accept 100 to 140. some people have some amazing stats. That's the reason I applied at ACC. If I'm not mistaken Micro was a course that had to be completed for the applications, that may have harmed your app. When I went to the meeting they said there had to be a grade for the science courses, "if not you can bet someone will be compete and ready." I could be wrong but she did state that to us. still I wish you the best, maybe BSN is the route you should be taking.. I applied for UTMB and UT Health and did not make either. My grades are good and my HESI was 88 overall (better grades were it counted) and I can't remember my TEAS grade but it was good as well. BEST WISHED TO YOU AND EVERYONE HERE
  14. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I'm at work and don't have the strength to check. I'm so nervous and to be honest i don't want to cry at work..lmao
