Starting a thread for people applying for Spring 2015 at Alvin Community College. Also wondering if anyone knows what counts as proof for Hepatitis B immunity?

Btw, this kinda off topic for this forum but have the other ADN programs ( San jac, lone star, Wharton, etc ) that have spring admission sent out their notifications? I know that sometime all the programs try to notify around the same time for students who may have applied to more than one school can make a decision.

College of the Mainland sent there's out a WEEK after the deadline. And they had paper applications. This was last month.

I have a friend who applied at HCC and she hasn't received an official acceptance letter but was sent to get her blue card. And I know that Lonestar (Kingwood) has already received their acceptance letters. So in due time we should be hearing something from Alvin.

Dang, one week after is great! Isn't someone on here an applicant at COM? If so, are you planning to accept or wait it out?

I heard San Jac hasn't send out yet too.

What is COM stands for ?

I got wait listed with COM at number 5. They said I'll probably get in, but I'd rather go to Alvin. HCC requires you to take pharmacology, but you can't take it (with them) until you submit an application. So you have to take it the following semester, and then after you get your grade, they'll give some kind of acceptance.

Dang to being waitlisted but #5 can turn to #1 in no time. But I know you said you prefer Alvin. Any idea if accepted to College of the Mainland, how long do they give you to accept/deny?

They gave a week to accept.
