Alvin Community College ADN-Fall 2017

Is anyone applying to ACC ADN program for Fall 2017?

I think this whole process makes you paranoid lol! I am applying to three schools and they all want different things. I feel like my brain is mush checking and double checking I am not missing something for each of them. I would be devastated to miss out on a technicality. ACC is my first choice and I am waiting to see if my updated HESI scores have been received. No fun the page is down and I can't make sure. Too early for a cocktail?

Ugh this is how I feel hahaha my brain is mush and I am just scattered right now lol Page is still down , but I know all I needed was to go to the info meeting. I was suppose to go earlier this month, but I am nightshift and ended up sleeping through the entire thing lol I have preferences with schools like you , but honestly at this point I will take anything and be happy lol

Karen emailed me back and told me the site is down due to the significant storms we had yesterday and the website should be back up ideally tonight or tomorrow morning.

I understand the feeling. I think I've applied to 5 different school and it's nerve racking keeping up with all the requirements.

They should extend the deadline for at least 2 days assuming they get the site fixed by tonight.

Well I'm out. Was planning on attending the info session tomorrow, but finally received my childhood immunization records today and no Hep B vaccine...I'm guessing since it wasn't required until 1998 my parents didn't ask for it. I had all my other titers done, so I hate for this one detail to keep me out. ACC is the only school out of the 5 I applied that Hep B before the application deadline is a requirement. I've paid to have 5 transcripts sent along with the HESI transcript, all for not. Good luck to everyone else.

Thats weird because they had mine done in 1993, but I'm from out of state. Maybe it was different back then in different areas. Atleast they have your transcripts and stuff on file. They hold it for a year I believe ! Good luck with your other schools.

Yea but we're talking about the '70's...a lot has changed since then.

Sorry to hear that. When this happens I always hope this is the universe guiding people to better things.

Hey guys ! I saw a full house today at the meeting !:) hows everyone on the application process ? I'm finally done.

Hi! I'm attending the final orientation this Friday! I'll be bringing my Hep B records and then I'll be officially done with my application. Were there long lines to physically hand in your folder after the meeting? I'm trying to get in to work asap after the meeting.

Though it's highly doubtful I'll be accepted (micro and lifespan are both in progress for me, I live out of district, and have never taken classes there), it still feels great to be finished applying.

Is anyone else also applying to San Jac's program? Which school would you attend if you were accepted into both???

Good luck everyone! Let's keep each other posted here!

Got done on the 21st. I'm just ready for the deadline to be over. I feel like I'm waiting double because I've been waiting so long for the application period to be over. I'm ready for final decision time.

In a weird way, I'm slightly thankful some rejection letters go out a little early. If I'm rejected then I appreciate not squirming for an additonal month of not knowing.

Also, another full house?? the 3/21 meeting was a full house. I imagine 300 people are applying.
