Is anyone applying to ACC ADN program for Fall 2017?

Great- thank you for the info, Mermaid_! :) I wish San Jac was as efficient with acceptances as ACC! San Jac won't have acceptances out until June or July. ������

Possibly July?! That's crazy. All the spring applications are due way before then. I've been filling all those out already. Everything on my Alvin Fall app is good to go except one transcript which I show they signed for but have not checked it off. I had an interview at UTMB last Thursday and honestly I'm hoping to be accepted there. Alvin is my back up.

I would double check with Karen on your transcript. I submitted my Hep B series on the 21st and admission checklist wasn't update for a week. I went in and was like "heeeeeeeey, so I just want to touch base about my vaccines. It's been a week." Sure enough, they had my vaccines, but it was not entered. So definitely email Karen because everything is usually processed pretty quick.

Good luck with UTMB! I'm on the waitlist for UT and I'm applying to UTMB before their deadline may 31. Alvin and college of the mainland are my backup. Check out college of the mainland ! They were a nice school as well.

I got a very curt "when we get it the website will be updated" response when I was trying to ask about my transcript. I'm going to try again tomorrow and hope it was just a stressful day for them.

It probably was ! Also it is only one person going through all 250-300 transcripts, shots and everything else and inputting it all. The secretary Karen :)

I was hoping to also apply to San Jac before the deadline. All of my documentation was in, save for one transcript from out of state. Actually, they sent San Jac ANOTHER STUDENT'S transcript with the same name as mine. So I had to request it again...but this was just before Spring Break...so there was a week delay in processing. By the time they received the correct transcript and evaluated all of them, the deadline to apply to the ADN program had passed. Ahhh well. *shrugs* I guess that just wasn't meant to happen.

Sooo...remind me when notifications are slated to go out for Alvin?

Here's the answer to my question...Thanks Mermaid_!!

She said they will be trying for May 15th to send out acceptances ! Also 250 applications so far. We have 3 more days until it closes.

San Jac extended their deadline to April 17th so you still have time!!!!
