Alternate Already? Wow that was quick!!!!

Hey all!!!

I just wanted to boost the spirits off all you wonderful people on "waiting lists". I was accepted into my school's ADN program for fall of 2011! I was SO BUMMED! I still had quite a few classes I could take to keep me busy but the thought of having to wait 2 and a half years just to get started was a heart breaker for sure. :cry: I had actually even thought about changing schools or majors just because my family needs the income and I wasn't sure I could wait. Well, long story short, (sorry!) I got a call a couple months ago telling me they were moving me from 2011, to 2010! (WOOHOO!) And it gets better! They called yesterday and offered me an alternate spot for THIS FALL! As in, 2 months from now!!! :yeah:I'm so glad I didn't back out or change my plans!!! I will have a VERY busy summer taking classes I thought I was going to have time to take later, but I don't care! It's totally worth it! :D Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I get to start in August. Good luck to all of you and your turn will be here before you know it!!!!! :heartbeat

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I am applying for Spring and I am hoping I will get accepted and bumped into the fall program LOL! :p
