in addition to my last post here......all of those people i mentioned....are on my allnurses buddy list...except for mt dew......who are you? so if you guys want to head into chat...........put a few on your buddy list.......then when you see them online....you can pm them and see if they will hop into the chat room?

I have visited as have you all, with pretty much the same result. Woud like to suggest "Set Times" as we are all obviously employed. Say, 8:30 am., 4:30 pm., and 12:30 am. and set days Tuesday, Thursday, and either Saturday/Sunday or Both. :cool: I work Agency,E.R. and have a "Crazy" schedule of course. I visit from Work a lot, but of course cannot reply from there(You need a pass Code, I'm workin on it!) and never know when I can POP In so that would work best for me and I'M sure many other Agency Nurses "Hi", to all and have a Great Day.

I drop by there sometimes and sometimes I open a window and keep it open for a while in case someone else drops in.

If we all stop by once in a while & more frequently we are bound to see others sooner or other. But if we only stop in and see its empty and leave we will keep missing each other.

I keep trying to chat with spicyserver but she always ignors me :)

I finally got the chat room to come up and I have to say I had a blast! After hosting in a conference room on AOL for the last 5 years I found the room refreshing with a lot of wonderful People there!

Maybe there are some night shift folks...who, on their nights off....can't seem to sleep at 0200-0500...and would like to chat with someone else...who is slept out for the time being !

A sceduled chat in "off hours" may be nice. Nothing else in the world is designed for night shift folks who are off..besides re-runs, eBay, emailing all of your friends while they are asleep, or just sleeping too much, just cuz !

God, i would love to catch someone to talk to. I get so bored here all day everyday. Best times for me is usually in the mornings. say 8-10am cst. I really miss talking nursing with my peers. I havent worked since feb 2001. so i feel i'm getting dull. help someone.

How about a chat room indicator (re: number of people present) on allnurses home page? Maybe it'll draw people in when they know someone's in there.
