There are several times that people are chatting, but there are also several other times that it's empty. Maybe we should set up a chat schedule.

Any suggestions on what would be the best time? Let me have them, I can make an announcement once we come up with a good time.

I'd love to see some guest speakers in the chat room! How about experts to debate the most popular topics in the boards? ANA vrs Wildtime comes to mind:D Or nurse authors, times for members to debate specific topics, (who wants to moderate that?)

I also have been there with noboby at home many times. I've never actually chatted live before, but wanted to try it out. I think the best time would probably be evening hours. Say 7pm or so. I know everyone works different hours, but that would only seem feasible and practical. Then you can have some morning sessions, (the coffee clotchers) certain days of the week or maybe everyday with certain hours and the 'latenight chats' for those who get off work at 11pm and want to chat after hours say 12mn. It's just a thought, but I'd really like to get in so I can get to know everyone.

I'd love to chat, frequently have gone there also only to be by myself.

Hope if you pick hours they extend into the late night. I don't get home from work much before 12mid.

Am a former chataholic and recovering chat addict but I have come to terms with it and am now on a restrictive chat diet.

Was in chat a couple months ago with Jamie and others, we had a blast! Peeked in a couple times after that and found no one, so I'd love to chat, think the idea of specific topics is a good one and guest hosts an even better one.

there were quite a few of us that would go into the chat area and hang there, back in april and may. then there was a problem and the chat room went down for a couple weeks. at that time many of the regular "chatters", downloaded icq. since then.....we have used icq to chat and hang out. if we knew others would be there we could go back there.

generally, chatting has been around midnight est until as late as 2am est. kaknurse, yetti, nurs4kids, moonchild, brian, cc nurse, jami, alara, and realnursealso/lpn, and occasionaly even wildtime pop in then............oh yeah....and me :)

since then........a few others have added icq and i get to talk frequently....like aimeee, brandybsn, jan and janl, and kcsun, bestblonde (when she is around lol), and the most recent mt. dew girl.........who i havent figured out who she is yet? lmao!

unfortunately, daytime hours on the weekends are out.........since my wife thinks chatters and people from the internet are all inmates, convicts......or people that should be incarcarated........husband stealers, rapists......etc.. etc......you get the idea.

in addition to my last post here......all of those people i mentioned....are on my allnurses buddy list...except for mt dew......who are you? so if you guys want to head into chat...........put a few on your buddy list.......then when you see them online....you can pm them and see if they will hop into the chat room?
