I will be starting LPN school on January 12th. It will be so exciting to learn all of the nursing skills.

I started the LPN program on December 1st. I almost cried the first day. The program I am in is self taught and you have a contract and assigned seat hours each month that have to be completed. I have to learn things overnight and take a minimum of 2 tests a day and labs to stay caught up. It is an absolute nightmare! I wish I was in a traditional program, however they do not offer that around here.

Hang in there, I know it is frustrating :banghead: but the rewards in the end are well worth it. I will keep you in my prays.

OH lord there will be drama....trust me.

Be very cautious not to get involved in things like that because it will distract you in your goals. Remain this exited through out the year! keep on the positive!!!!.

Drama!!!! We had pre-class day yesterday and i can already tell where some of the drama might come from. One of the people are repeating and think they know how the game is worked. An instructor had to stop them in there tracks. It wasnt that bad its just the point.

i posted earlier and i wanted to give an update. so i got all my books....all 23 of them worth 1001.38...i was so excited to get them and i wanted to start studying but i have no idea where to start. i just about past out when i opened my two nursing book kits:grn:!!!!!

any ideas on what i should start looking at. i'm not really worried about a&p because i just finished to university bio course so it should be easy (a's in both) and the a&p seems to be similar just not as in depth.

i start on the 17th so any suggestions would help!
