Hello all,

I have looked all over this site in hopes of finding others that are getting their packets ready and are applying to the Air Force this fall. I have not found any recent threads on this.

I am applying for an ER spot. I have been a RN for 7 years and work in a Level II trauma emergency center. I have my MSN-Administrative Leadership and TCRN. Is there anyone out there that is also getting their packets ready for October boards? My recruiter told me that because of COVID everything has been pushed back and that boards will meet in October this year. He also told me that I would be going to MEPS and doing my medical in the next 3 weeks.

Has anyone heard anything about how many spots for each specialty?

I was wondering the same thing. I haven’t heard definitely. The consultant told me they wouldn’t be interviewing if they didn’t have at least one spot, and the recruiter mentioned “possibly two” as far as OB...great odds ?

I also applied to clinical as a back up but wasn’t given any numbers.

I submitted my package for this board for clinical nurse and flight nurse! I’m excited and nervous...it’s been a long road to get here. Come on November 12th! Good luck to you all!

Does anyone know if the board convened on Monday?

My recruiter told me- Board started Monday. Results are tentatively set for 12 Nov.

No other information.

Thanks! The board dates are always “tentative,” so I was just curious if it actually happened! My recruiter is on leave right now.

Yes!! I was curious with it being a holiday the day before the release date if it would change things forwards or backwards.
