Hello all,
I have looked all over this site in hopes of finding others that are getting their packets ready and are applying to the Air Force this fall. I have not found any recent threads on this.
I am applying for an ER spot. I have been a RN for 7 years and work in a Level II trauma emergency center. I have my MSN-Administrative Leadership and TCRN. Is there anyone out there that is also getting their packets ready for October boards? My recruiter told me that because of COVID everything has been pushed back and that boards will meet in October this year. He also told me that I would be going to MEPS and doing my medical in the next 3 weeks.
I spend my free time over analyzing previous year’s message boards, fb pages, etc just trying to determine my odds. LOL. I am hopeful for us all to get in and for there to be spots for all of us! I ended up picking up overtime shifts every day this week so I’m not sitting at home on my phone just stressing out about this every day!
The 12th is also just an anticipated date. I was never told about this date by my recruiter. He told me the end of November maybe as late as the first of December. Hopefully they well actually release this week.

I thought the same thing. This is the only thread I’ve actually seen regarding boards for FY21. And there aren’t any moderators commenting like years past.

I guess, waited 2 months with no answer until I finally got told that. I wasn’t aware it could happen either. It was confusing. I am located overseas, my recruiting team is stateside.
