Air Force FY 2015

Is anyone else on here applying for FY 2015 for Air Force? I'm in the process of applying for the selection board in October 2014 and it would be great to hear from someone else also applying for the end of this year! :)

Happy New Year to the alternate select Critical Care nurse who will get my slot. I was selected as one of the CC nurses but due to health issue that occurred after selection but prior to my commissioning. USAF Surgeon General and MEPS reviewed and did not grant waiver. I got the call yesterday morning that I cannot join after three years applying to both Navy and Air Force. My great loss is your gain. Take care of our service members and the military family members in your care. Perhaps I'll yet join you at Ft. Belvior, VA as a DoD civilian nurse, which was to be my duty station after COTS in March. That's my next avenue to pursue. Very best of luck to all FY 14 nurses! Especially good luck to the nurse filling my boots.

I applied to the Jan board hoping at least for alternate slot. My understanding is that results should be in Jan 26th. Good luck! I am praying we get good news and get to join all the other selects...if not I guess October board I will be trying again!
