Call the manager and tell that person that you didn't pass the NCLEX. They will find out one way or the other and it's better if you're the one who gets to clear the air first. I would see how they respond and maybe they will give you a chance to work as a Graduate Nurse on the floor until you pass the NCLEX and get a license. It is common practice for managers to introduce an applicant for a new nursing position to staff who are working on that day. It doesn't always guarantee that the applicant is hired but getting the second interview, as you stated, is a good sign.
After failing NCLEX, you are no longer allowed to work as a graduate nurse on the floor.
OP, you need to tell them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, my bad...was that too many exclamation points? Yeah, I know the feeling.

I thought you could only work as a GN until you sit for the NCLEX, if you pass, YAY! If not, your GN days are over. Therefore, the OP doesn't have that GN window anymore. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please!!

Greetings everyone i have a situation. I recently took my nclex but failed
but prior to taking the nclex i applied to a couple jobs and guess what ? After the fact i failed my nclex i got a call for a job interview. I went to the interview and was called in for a 2nd but after two interviews the manager never mentioned anything abt the license just my certificate and they also know that i am new grad. I was introduced to the staff members and i am getting the vibe that i may get hired. i am soooooooooo scared. What should i do ?
