Please try not to freak out. This is just the BON's way of making sure you are safe to grant a license to. In CA new applicants have to do the same thing under certain circumstances, including yours, and to my knowledge are rarely turned down. You may have to jump through a few extra hoops to get your license, but don't get discouraged. Whatever they tell you to do, just do it as quickly as you can. Good luck. :icon_hug: :icon_hug:
Amazing. I have seen known drug addicts enter Nursing school and get their licenses without any trouble. Here is a person who had a bout with mental illness but is functioning well, is on meds, got through a tough time in her life, and now the Board wants to give her a hard time.
Hopefully, they will simply go by the letters of recommendation that you are going to ask your doctor and supervisor to give them and you will get your license without any further ado.
