Just wondering who's starting the awesome journey with me? I went to orientation and now its starting to feel real!!
Glad to say, that I am part of this group too! Oh boy, I get so nervous/happy/scared/excited all at once just thinking about it! So much, that I think we need a new word for it...Nerppy, or something lol
I've already gotten about half of my supplies, white scrubs, a steth, watch, etc. Still need to get all the vacc, and stuff. Wow it cost a lot of money, but it's worth it.
Good luck everyone!
Looks like everybody is already in progress of buying their uniforms and stuff. The only thing I have completed is my physcial, immunizations, and titers. Later this month I will be purchasing my uniforms, stethoscope, Liability Insurance, background check info, and completing my CPR class. Once I get all this stuff done and have my receipts then I can register for my classes in the Fall.
I am ready to begin too. We had orientation at the end of May and tomorrow is the first day of "pre-nursing" class. We will be getting information of immunizations, physical forms, going over important facts. Also squeezing in dosage calculations, assignments, uniform ordering, etc. She said that we are getting everything out of the way because when August 19th comes we will be having class. So excited and cannot sleep. My backpack is packed and at the door. Clothes are laid out for me and my daughter so I can go to "class" and she can go to daycare. I will pick everyone posted as I go throught this process. And CT, thanks for starting this thread. It's going to be a big one!
Had my first day of pre-nursing. It was pretty general except the surprise Math Quiz when we walked through the door:eek:. But I made sure to brush up on "old" math before then so I should be fine. We will be getting the grades from the quiz and registering for classes tomorrow. Congrats to everyone

I'm starting this August at Mercy of Toledo. I am so excited, but it doesn't feel "real" yet. Have my cpr done, uniforms ordered, vaccines started and titers drawn! Seems like it has already been a LONG road, I will be so happy to finally start. Good luck to everyone!
