Ya know, on one hand, I love this forum sooooo much that I wish every nurse and nursing student knew about it. But then again, I found myself not sharing this website with ay of my fellow students. Hmmmm.....
I'm with you. I absolutely adore allnurses.com. Maybe one day, you'll see a little Gamecock avatar (?) under my name.
Thanks to everybody for the enlightenment. I quess this is a very positive addition. I have told many people about this at school (where I tutor student nurses) and work and the response I mostly get is "when I am off work I don't do anything nursey" so one of the things I love about you guys is that you don't stop being nurses when you are off work. There's a real love for the profession and all it embraces. Thanks for being there.:monkeydance:

it's not just that i love allnurses, i love everything to do with nursing!
i was just proclaiming my love of this site yesterday to my boyfriend, as i told him, i really feel like i have an advantage over other new nurses having known about this site...the student stuff, the NCLEX info, what to expect in the first year of nursing, and what experienced pros encounter everyday...i love it. of course he said something like 'der, well you might be surprised...' that's why i love this site, you guys know what i mean, right?
i just found out about allnurses about a week ago & i'm already addicted too! i have LOTS of free time at work, which i spend meandering around the site. i don't comment/post too much, but i feel like i've learned SO MUCH about nursing school & nursing just since i've found this website.

Since I found this website I am totally addicted. I have learned so much and everyday find something helpful in dealing with patients, staff or life. My DH says everytime he's looking for me I'm on the computer. Help, how much is too much. Someone pry the mouse from my hand please.:monkeydance: Also, what are the five little tan boxes next to the warning.
