Acceptance Letters? MGH Direct-Entry Master's in Nursing

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hello!

Does anyone know when acceptance letters will be mailed out for the MGH d-e master's in nursing program? I know it's only been 3 weeks since the January 10th deadline, but I'm sure I'm not the only one biting my nails in the interim. :) I've looked through a few similar threads from a few years ago-- most students seemed to receive letters in early March, but who knows whether their program deadlines were the same. Thought I'd ask the question to get some discussion going. Hope all of us hear back soon! Good luck, everyone!

JUST GOT MY ACCEPTANCE EMAIL! im legitimately shaking.

Congrats PsychLisa! That's great! When did it come in?

thank you! the email came in at 11:15 pm....so im guessing its an automated email? which means you will all get your good news soon! my fingers are crossed for you all.

I also got an email! Congrats!

Hey ladies, I've been reading your posts for a while, to get an idea of when to expect my letter from MGH, and I thought I'd finally post! I received an acceptance email to the peds program tonight around 11pm! The letter explained that since they took so long to make a decision, that they are emailing now, and sending decision letters in the mail this week.

Good luck & I hope you have all heard good news!!

Dana S.

Congrats Dana! Yes, I thought the email was very nice - they acknowledged and apologized for the delay and attributed it to a large increase in the number of applications. They could have just as easily not addressed this point . . .

The letter also says that notification of merit awards, if any, will be in the formal letters in the mail.

Got my email at 1130, was not expecting it so late but I'll be damned. I'm in for psych, can't wait. They mentioned the April 9th meet and greet, time to rearrange my work sched to be available then!

Mine came in at 11:23! Good news is welcomed at any hour!

Yay! I got it too! Better late than never! ;) Congrats everyone!

I got accepted too and I am freaking out! Congrats everyone! I am clueless about financial aid & really hope I can afford to go.

Congrats to everyone! I also got an e-mail at around 11:20 last night for the Family track! Looking forward to April 9th to meet everyone!

this is so exciting! can't wait to meet you all! is anyone else really young and kind of anxious about jumping right into grad school? I'm only 21 and graduating from undergrad in May...I know this is what I want but I think it just hit me that after this program I will have been in school for 20 STRAIGHT YEARS!

anyone else with me? hopefullly...haha
