Acceptance Letters? MGH Direct-Entry Master's in Nursing

Hello!

Does anyone know when acceptance letters will be mailed out for the MGH d-e master's in nursing program? I know it's only been 3 weeks since the January 10th deadline, but I'm sure I'm not the only one biting my nails in the interim. :) I've looked through a few similar threads from a few years ago-- most students seemed to receive letters in early March, but who knows whether their program deadlines were the same. Thought I'd ask the question to get some discussion going. Hope all of us hear back soon! Good luck, everyone!

called today, and they are hoping for the end of this week. the poor admissions people have been trying to push the committee along, but they're taking their time.. so.. fingers crossed. they're being sent out snail-mail, but there is a possibility of a phone call or an email for those accepted.

I'm glad to hear letters are going out soon. That's at least one school that will soon be off of my nail-biting list. I have a feeling they will say no, though. Not sure why, but I do...

The funny thing is, I was not nervous about this process (my approach was whatever will be, will be), however the MGH waiting game and constantly changing notification dates have made me nervous. I am hoping we hear something (via email, phone, etc.) tomorrow because it is kind of painful at this point...

I got into Columbia and Northeastern and am leaning towards Northeastern at this point but I can't believe we haven't heard from MGH yet!! I hope it comes soon! Have a good weekend everyone!

Congratulations BHCHP! Both are great schools, you have some great options. What is making you lean towards Northeastern?

Hi Choco!

I really like the focus they have on urban populations and working with the under served. I also really like the Co Op section of the program. Columbia's program is only 2.5 years, which I think is just a little too fast for me. Where are you thinking? Has anyone heard from MGH? Its getting so late!

I spoke with someone in the admissions office today, and she said that decision letters for the direct-entry MSN program are going out next week.

I just spoke with someone at MGH, they said decisions are going out Monday.

Every time someone calls it seems to be something different. When I called yesterday they said today. Ugh... Did they say if they email/mail/call?
