Acceptance letters-Ivy Tech 2014

Published

Good morning potential nursing students! As we wait for the end of May to arrive, to receive our acceptance letters for the fall 2014 nursing program, I know there will be times of doubt. I am very guilty of second guessing myself. Questions arise such as...did I turn in everything that was required? Are my scores high enough? Am I missing something, such as an orientation or meeting? Are there others that feel just as crazy and neurotic as I do? The only type of reassurance we can receive is from the support of family, friends, but most important, pre-nursing students who are in your same position. Please feel free to ask questions or state concerns. Lets get through these next few months together! Hopefully we will all get the answer we have been working so hard on receiving and can continue our journey together!

I am also applying to the Lafayette campus. I have all As in the core classes and I got an 86% on the TEAS. My application score was a 175. Can't wait to find out!

Well future nursing students...only 5 to 10 days left for those ASN acceptance letters to come out!!!!! I am so antsy I can't seem to think about anything else. Good luck again to everyone that is still waiting and congrats to those who have already received their good news!!!:nurse:

Hi! I have received acceptance letters from 2 out of the 6 campuses I applied to. I got one from Columbus on the 16th and one from Lawrenceburg on the 19th. I will be going to the Columbus campus. I had all A's and all pre-reqs and co-reqs completed. I scored 80 on teas. Good luck to everyone waiting. I am excited to get started!

Great job!!! I'm sure you will get accepted. We will have to stay in touch. Lafayette is my first choice. Can't wait!!!

The Fort Wayne campus usually has 60-80 spots for Fall and Spring semesters. Good luck to everyone who applied. I just graduated from the Fort Wayne campus and am currently studying for my NCLEX.

Does anyone know how many spots Lafayette has for ASN? Patiently awaiting a letter, only place I applied. I have all As and my adjusted TEAS V was a 90.

Specializes in Resource, Medsurg, ICU/CIC, ED.

I got alternate for lafayette transtion :( still waiting for my Indy letter.

I received my acceptance letter for the Kokomo program today. Feeling good about it and would appreciate any advice on some of the things I need to do now that I have been accepted. Looking forward to starting!

IN at Kokomo for the ASN program for Fall 2014!!!! I've already paid for my background test and sent in my acceptance email. I'll turn in my reciept Monday for the drug screening and then get a titer check for shots. Don't want to take more than I need to! I am THRILLED to no longer be a "pre-nursing" nursing student!! :sarcastic:

Unfortunately for Lafayette, our information will not be given out until July 10th. I just hope it gives everyone enough time to get everything completed in time. Congrats everyone!!!

I got into the ASN program in Indy!

Congrats!!!! Now for getting everything completed and turned in. I hope it's not too difficult.
