Acceptance letters-Ivy Tech 2014

Good morning potential nursing students! As we wait for the end of May to arrive, to receive our acceptance letters for the fall 2014 nursing program, I know there will be times of doubt. I am very guilty of second guessing myself. Questions arise such as...did I turn in everything that was required? Are my scores high enough? Am I missing something, such as an orientation or meeting? Are there others that feel just as crazy and neurotic as I do? The only type of reassurance we can receive is from the support of family, friends, but most important, pre-nursing students who are in your same position. Please feel free to ask questions or state concerns. Lets get through these next few months together! Hopefully we will all get the answer we have been working so hard on receiving and can continue our journey together!

Just wondering how everyone is doing their first semester? I'm loving it!! I love my instructors and have some good classmates. Our last week of 103 lab is next week then it's off to clinicals to practice this stuff on real people!!! I hope I'm ready!

Hi, Heather! Good luck! I am so happy for you because I can feel your passion! I will be a nursing student in Fall (if everything goes well). I've heard many people said the first semester in nursing class is very hard, they have to go through a whole book in 4 weeks...I am so nervous. Be a nurse is my dream. HI! My name is Staci, and I was wondering if any of you future nurses can give me some information? I am still busy taking my pre reqs and plan on applying to start in the spring. I was wondering if any of you could tell me what you guys got in the pre reqs and if you were accepted, and also how does the point system work? I know that Anatomy 1, PSYC 101 and English comp 111 gets points for each class, but where do I get other points. I'm seeing that people that applied had points around 160-170. I'm confused! Any help would be much appreciated.

I was just accepted in the SB ASN program. I had all A's in my classes and a 71.3 on my teas. STUDY HARD AND LONG FOR YOUR TEAS!! My total points were 131/160.

A&P 101- 30 (for an A)
