Good morning potential nursing students! As we wait for the end of May to arrive, to receive our acceptance letters for the fall 2014 nursing program, I know there will be times of doubt. I am very guilty of second guessing myself. Questions arise such as...did I turn in everything that was required? Are my scores high enough? Am I missing something, such as an orientation or meeting? Are there others that feel just as crazy and neurotic as I do? The only type of reassurance we can receive is from the support of family, friends, but most important, pre-nursing students who are in your same position. Please feel free to ask questions or state concerns. Lets get through these next few months together! Hopefully we will all get the answer we have been working so hard on receiving and can continue our journey together!
It's getting closer for those of us waiting for our letters at the end of May!!!! Two weeks left for the remaining semester and I'm sure that we are stressed about more than one thing right now. I am taking chemistry and microbiology this semester and I am dreading the micro final. It has been a fun class but very informative. What classes are you taking now and how are you felling about the upcoming finals?
I am taking Advanced Physiology, Sociology, Psych, and Math 035. I have A's in everything going into finals week. I have my last presentation tomorrow in Physiology Lab. Then it's time to study for finals. I have a test in Psych on Fri. and we have a lecture test in Phys on Mon. then the final Wed. I am struggling right now to get stuff done. I am so ready for this semester to be over.
New to this post but I applied to the transition program in Lafayette and Indy. Hopefully I make one of them. I'm not originally from Lafayette. I just moved here from Muncie.
Lafayette is a very nice campus. Classrooms are easy to find too! Good luck, not too much longer until letters start coming out!!!!
I also have been working solely towards the ASN. My advisor continually tells me to make a back up plan, but I have a family of 6 and I really like my job in the medical laboratory. There's no need in trying to be something else when you know exactly what you want to be or do. Good luck to you! You can do it.

I was just informed that both of these campuses have high pass rates on NCLEX exams. For numbers you can check out my other thread. This is good to know!
