I'm making this thread to see if anyone else is applying to Umass Amherst for fall 2017 acclerated nursing program?

Hi! I also applied for this program. I did receive an email stating that my application is complete, but have not heard anything since. What about you?

Nothing. They said by early march. They are not conducting interviews this cycle apparently

Yes, I did get my application complete email.

I haven't heard anything else. @Asiyah.futurern, thanks for letting us know that they're not conducting interviews this cycle - I was wondering about that!

Hi! I got my application complete email a while ago, but just saw on other threads that previous years got interviewed. According to this thread, they are not doing interviews this year? That's good to know! I am assuming we will still all hear back in early March about acceptance?

Hi everyone! I also applied for this program, and had my application completed in December. I'm very surprised to hear that they aren't conducting interviews- does anyone know why they decided not to this cycle?

Did anyone apply to other programs besides UMASS Amherst?

Yes, I applied to other schools because Umass was a reach for me. My gpa was on the lower side but I thought I would still give it a shot anyway.

I also applied to Salem State University, Northeastern University, and I plan to apply to California State University-San Marcos.

I got my application complete email on 2/1 which also indicates that we will be hearing back in March from the school of nursing whether we are accepted or not...ahh, my nerves!

I just heard back from UIC and will be interviewing with them at the end of the month. I also applied to a few accelerated programs.
