"Natalie Lefebvre on Thanksgiving: 'I've fallen in love with everything again'
The doctors told Natalie Lefebvre she was dying. To understand how she feels on this Thanksgiving morning demands knowing, at that moment, exactly what she feared the most. Less than two years ago, Natalie was in the kitchen of her home on Onondaga Hill when she fell to the ground and went into a seizure. She is an intensive care nurse at Upstate University Hospital, and as soon as they put her in the ambulance, she knew:
The chances were good that her seizure was caused by a tumor, a result soon confirmed by a brain scan

Happy Thanksgiving to you realnursealso/LPN and to all here on AN. I am grateful to still be in the nursing profession. Its been a rough year for me but I am coming out out of it now.
Positive story and it too brought tears to my eyes. After all in life life is what is important I should know that I am a nurse and in the end thats all we have.. good for her that she is alive and still working. Love cured her and kept her alive... food for thought for all of us... I know it is for me. Thank realnurse for posting this today. Bless you.
