A good report on MY hospital stay:)!

Published

I just got released from a local hospital here, and I must commend every person I came in contact with. I can't say much on here, but I think if anyone who was there in this hospital, knows who they are. If not, I'm the lady who left her credit card behind today! THANK YOU each and everyone I came in contact with!:D You did an excellent job taking care of me!kiss

OOOoh yeah, I NEVER had to wait for anything, and although I definitely didn't expect my call bell to be answered within a certain amount of rings,..... it was:D!!!:chuckle

Lecia:kiss Thank you! You know what, the thought of not going to that perfect job, almost caused me not to go to the ER!!! Seriously I was going to not even call 911! I had taken an ASA, and some motrin, and laid down!!!

But the pressure wouldn't let me stay there! By the time EMS got to my home almost two hours, after the pressure started, my b/p was 187/122!!! My HR was 145!!! I was scaaaared to death almost but I wanted that job sooo bad I was afraid to let them know I was having a problem!

Please anyone reading this, do NOT do what I did! I'm just a hard headed ole nurse, who is too much a of control freak for my own good! And that's the truth:chuckle!

So you can still come visit me:D!

We are going to hold you to that promise Brownie.

You know you're right Deb:)! I want my grandson to know his grandmother, and I want to have a hand in raising him! I did a dumb thing yesterday, but when I saw my daugher's face lose all color, I knew I had to go out of here!

But you should've heard me whinning when they wanted stick me! I have a nice bruise on my arm, from one trying to draw blood. I think she was a little nervous, as I could hear it in her voice. But I promise I will be good. :D

I really think the Cardio doc wanted to roto rotter me....:nono: :chuckle!

Thanks kids-r-fun:kiss! :chuckle I have a feeling too many of us would've done it too!

But I have already started being good. I have been eating a good diet, but now I have now sworn off any beef products. Only chicken breasts, seafood, fruits, veggies, and no lattes, capaccino, or mochas for a while.

I'm hoping to lower my LDL a few more points, and try to get my HDL up! If I can't get it up by next month, he is going to start meds, and I don't want that!:nono:

I'm sure it was hard for you to have to call and say "hey perfect job people, I won't be in b/c I've got some not so good stuff going on, but I promise as soon as I'm better I'll be in."

I'm also sure that they thought... "no problem, you're worth the wait!"

So glad you're better!!

Have you been to the new job yet?? How goes it??

:kiss Glad to know you are ok. As for cleaning the house while waiting for EMS...and driving yourself to the ER.... SPANK SPANK

Stay well :kiss

Boy Brownie . . I would have done the same thing. Cleaned up before the ambulance got there. No way do I want my co-workers to see the dirty dishes in the sink. :D

I've actually thought of that since I had my seizure at work. What if I had one at home and the ambulance crew showed up while the house was a mess? What if they had to plow through the dirty laundry in the basement to get to me?

The things we think of!! Such false pride.

So glad you are ok. Had a lady just like you in the ER day before yesterday. Admitted observation and ended up fine.

Scary though. Take care,

steph
