Heh true. I quadriple check my versions on every test now! LOL!

OK I HAVE got to ask if you have one of these in your classes. " The Annoying Person"

There is this lady in my lecture( not in my lab thank goodness) ...anyway she's always asking 10000 unrelated questions or piping up bits of useless information. She slows the pace of lecture down to a SNAILS pace with her constant raising of her hand. She sits in the back row with me...and I know for a fact a good 10 or so other people were annoyed as all with her UNTIL

Yesterday- LMAO- this day will go down in infamy I swear. We are supposed to have an exam on Tuesday- but thanks to her - we haven't gotten through the material yet so the professor announced that she's backing the test up until Thursday. Well she raises her hand and I swear says " Ummmm could it be possible if we still had the test on Tuesday? I am sure my fellow classmates would agree it's better to just get it over with then delaying it 2 more days". Now this was followed with about 90% of the class staring at her like she had 10000 heads---- the professor calmly explains that we CANT have the exam until we FINISH the material and she raises her hand again and says " Can't we just finish the rest on our own time"???

LOL! It's because of HER that we haven't gotten through the material.

If you have ever wanted to have 90% of your fellow classmates staring at you with jaws hanging open.....try this trick out! The other 10% or so were laughing so hard they couldn't look up.

*whew* she's a piece of work!

How about an 18 yo male who turns every subject that we are studying into a conversation with the professor about sex? Who in returns carries on the conversation with him while the rest of the 90 something students in lecture ask her to stop? This is an everyday occurence and numerous students have asked the professor (in class and out of class) to stop the childish flirting and get on with the lecture. No matter if she finished the lecture or not the next class does not take up where she leaves off and we are told to finish on our own. This would not be a problem if it was due to intelligent conversations that related to the class, but to have to sit and listen to them basically flirt with one another every two days is a complete waste of time.

I would love it!

Pasha :)

I forgot to add. I created a Word document with the Sliding Filament Theory, and if anyone wants it, I'll email it. It is a combination of my book, notes and some online sources. Let me know if you need it :)

It actually makes more sense to me than the cell lol

We're not on muscle tissue yet, but on the part of learning the muscles.

I did make powerpoints for the models.

http://www.nursingjourney.com.....look at the "Quizzes" page, and the "Helpful Pages" page.

Hope this helps! :)

If any of you have the Martini A&P book, the CD in the back is really helpful for the action potential. You get the visual and that helps so much for me. Thank God we are finished with that exam. That was the most stressful test so far for me. We tested on chapters 10-13. I was afraid my cranium might explode! But I got a perfect score! Ok not really, but I did get a B.
