I wanna sleep all summer long:yawn:

No time for me to sleep over the summer! I have A&P II starting the week after A&P I ends..and then Chem summer session II! Talk about a fun summer!

By the way..I retract my last statement..I am actually FASCINATED by the nervous system! I'm actually considering going into Neuro nursing! Who would have thunk it!

However, ask me in about a year..:lol2:

Me too Lovelymo79! Luckily, I get 3 weeks off from school (going to paint the house, brutally get rid of stuff and have a huge garage sale) and then I'm taking AP1, Micro and Gen psych - but mine are done in one session, 10 wks long. And I have to move back home (hence the clean up) during the summer session. Oh joy :p I took Chem this semester and it was pretty good, I just have 2 labs to do and hand in and I'm done - hooray! How did your exam go?

js408 - way to go on that test!!!!

Shall we start another thread soon for those taking AP2 this summer? I love encouraging and being encouraged by everyone here, you all are AWESOME!! :heartbeat

I think we should start one for A&P II over the summer..we'll be done with A&P I then! lol

My exam was NOT good! We get the results back tomorrow. Even the guy with the best average in the class said that he messed that test up. Luckily, our professor will be dropping the lowest exam grade..so that's good.

Did I also mention I'll be taking a nursing assistant course with my nursing school the month of July..it's a pre-req for Nursing 110. So, while I'll be sweating it out in July with Chem..I'll also be in the nursing assistant course during the day. With clinicals and lab..some of my days will be from 7am - 11pm! NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT!:banghead:

7 more weeks of class. This class is killing me. I can't wait for it to be over!

I got an 80 on my exam for the nervous system..which I'm happy about! :yeah: That was the HARDEST exam we had all semester. Even the guy with the highest average in the class..he got a 60. Him and I have a competition with exams..but I told him I didn't feel good about beating him on this exam. We have one more class on tomorrow..then a practical exam on next Tuesday..and a lecture exam on next Thursday...and then that's it! One week to "chill" and then A&P II starts. If I get nothing lower than an 80 on next week's exams..I'll end up with a high B for the class..which is good. I was aiming for an A..but I'll save that for A&P II. :)

Just got my lecture quiz back on the skeletal system and articulation, an 88 which is my lowest of the semester so far. I thought I did much worse. Tomorrow we'll be taking the lab pratical on the skeleton and histology....I'm studying my butt off

wish me luck! :p

Is anyone stuck with a horrible professor?

Our class averages on the first two exams were D and F. I got a B's, but I feel like we're missing so much and will be in trouble in A&PII.

We have our bone practical on Friday and it's just nothing good. We have had zero guidance, no study aids, no advice, nothing... from our professor.

Sounds like a normal anatomy course to me. The professor basically forcefeeds information and you're expected to learn it on your own with no help from anyone. Good luck

My class has a big test today on Muscular system and Digestive system!!! Can't wait to get it over with! It's going to be hard

The problem is her. The other A&P students under other professors at our institution are extremely prepared. They have covered (thoroughly) twice as much information and have an amazing foundation.

This professor even tried to tell us that the reason atoms are neutral is due to the neutrons... even after the entire class pointed out that the reason is due to the number of electrons = number of protons.

I graduate from A&P I tonight with my last 2 exams (1 practical and 1 lecture)!! :yeah: However, I will miss you guys! :crying2: Anyone taking A&P II in the summer? I think there is a Summer A&P thread floating around here somewhere..

When will you guys be done? Let's make sure we post our final grades! :lol2:

I'm taking A&P II in the summer starting in July. I have about 4 weeks left in the course so it's crunch time! Tonight we have our final quiz it's on the Muscular system, Muscular tissue, and the male/female reproductive system. The teacher decided on Tuesday that it would be open books/open notes soo whew!

After this we have the lab practical final and the Lecture final. I see much stress on my horizon lol
